La Fontana International Schools: Anti-Bullying Policy

1. Definition
Bullying is the repeated, intentional hurting of one person by another, where there is an imbalance of power. It can be physical, verbal, or psychological (including cyberbullying).

2. Our Stance
Bullying in any form is unacceptable and will be treated seriously by the school.

3. Prevention
We promote a culture of respect, kindness, and inclusion through the curriculum, assemblies, and student-led initiatives.

4. Reporting
Students, parents, and staff are encouraged to report any bullying incidents immediately to a class teacher, the school counsellor, or the Head of School. Reports can be made anonymously via the Complaints & Feedback channel.

5. Response
All reports will be investigated promptly and sensitively. Responses are restorative, aiming to repair harm and rebuild relationships, but may include disciplinary sanctions where appropriate.
